SMX London 2010 – 17th & 18th May

by Alex on May 14, 2010

You're back! Be sure to follow me on Twitter before leaving.

I’ve been very lucky this year to have the opportunity to go to SMX Search Expo London early next week in Covent Garden. I’ll be there for both days courtesy of my employers (thanks again guys!) and plan to turn my brain into one giant sponge. The expo looks incredible in terms of line-up, and really appeals to my areas of digital marketing.

On the day 1 agenda, I’m mostly looking forward to hearing out the 2010 SEO Ranking Factors (obviously) and also Keyword Research: Beyond The Ordinary – as this is one area where I would like to further my expertise and keep things fresh.

Day 2 will be a dream for me, although it’s true about what they say – too much choice can be a bad thing! Both social media and analytics/CRO are running parallel with each other. Although I’m intrigued to hear the deep-level analytics side of things, my direction is more focused towards ‘front-end’ marketing campaigns and customer interaction. I’m a strong believer that social media, local search and mobile marketing are very much here to stay- powered by each other – and I’m putting a lot of time into developing my knowledge of all three areas.

You can find both agendas here:

If you’re about, get in touch – I’m always looking to network.
